This 28 year-old patient was referred to Dr. Siamak Agha at Newport Beach for a thigh lift. The patient had already undergone a tummy tuck, breast augmentation and breast lift by her plastic surgeon. The patient had lost over 150 pounds of weight via gastric bypass surgery in 2007. The patient was primarily unhappy with her thigh heaviness. On examination, the patient was found to have significant thigh tissue laxity in both a vertical and horizontal direction. Patient's thighs were heavy with a significant amount of fatty tissue. Examination of the rest of her lower body revealed a well healed tummy tuck incision, a moderate degree of abdominal skin and tissue laxity, outer thigh laxity, laxity of thigh fronts, waist tissue excess and laxity, buttock sagging and deflation. Patient also had significant dimpling of her buttocks and thighs, as well as lower back and love-handle rolls.
