Medications to Avoid

 

What medications should I avoid?


All patients scheduled for surgery should discontinue taking all products containing aspirin and Vitamin E two weeks prior to the procedure.

 

Aspirin and Vitamin E may cause bleeding and/or clotting problems during and after surgery.

 

The following is a list of medications to be avoided two weeks prior to procedure:
